nichum aveilim, explores the needs of mourners and provides words of nechamah to cope and find meaning at a time of loss.

 

Presenters were selected from Rabonim, professionals and famous speakers who share their knowledge, experience and feelings on this extremely difficult topic.

FILM 1:
"The Rav of Komemius:  The Story of Rav Binyomin Mendelson zt"l and the renewal of Shemittah Observance in Eretz Yisroel"
This film is narrated by Rabbi Paysach Krohn and features Israeli farmers from different backgrounds. The documentary highlights the role of HaRav Binyomin Mendelsohn, founding Rav of the religious moshav Kommemius, in spearheading the movement for Shemittah observance amongst Israeli farmers.  It gives a glimpse into the leadership that was shown by the Rav and the monumental self-sacrifice shown by myriads of Israeli farmers who have answered his call. This film will help you appreciate the concept of Shemittah and its challenges. 


FILM 2:

In conjunction with the Yahrtzeit of Rav Eliyashiv we will show once more the  documentary of his life 

"Maseches Chaim" 
 

Experience Rav Elyashiv's extraordinary dedication to Torah.   In response to this film many have said

"It has the power to change your life!"

Get an intimate glimpse into the life of the Gadol Hador 

Please come early as the film will start on time.

CPR Certification


The Kollel is looking to administer CPR courses for men and women in our community.

 

There is a minimum of 6 participants, in order for the 

American Heart Association
 to come do a private class. There is a charge of $55 per certification.
