Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Reinman is a renowned author, historian and Talmudic scholar, who also a speaks widely on Jewish history and thought. He has authored Shufra Dishtara, a seminal study of the philosophy of Talmudic contractual law in Hebrew, and Abir Yosef, a study of Chumash according to Rashi's commentary. All in all, he has written sixty-five books, and his articles have appeared in numerous Jewish periodicals. Among his works are the very popular Destiny: The Story of the Jewish people and the Western World and the twelve-volume Strasbourg Saga, a work of historical fiction, under the name Avner Gold.

Kollel Lost and Found  

Unclaimed items left in the Kollel for longer than 30 days will be disposed of.
We have launched a Lost and Found Page to help people become aware of lost items.  Periodically, we will post on this page photos of items that are found in the Kollel facility or at Kollel events.  Please look at the items and let us know if any of them are yours at [email protected].

In addition to this page, there is a Lost and Found box by the coat rack at the back door.
Community News 

  • Bnos of Bala Cynwyd will IY"H meet this Shabbos, from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm at LMS. Please pay your yearly membership dues if your daughter attends Bnos.  
  • Pirchei/Torah Youth this week from 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm at LMS.
  • Bauminger's Library:  The library will once again be open every Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at 228 Stoneway Lane, Merion.
  • "כל השונה הלכות בכל יום": "Whoever studies two Halachos a day is assured a place in Olam Habah."
