The Kollel offers shiurim and chavrusas for every day of the week.

  • Bnos of BC will IY"H meet this Shabbos, Parshas Vayikra, March 19th from 4:30pm - 5:30pm at LMS. Please note the time change.
  • Torah Youth will meet from 3:00 - 4:00 on the Lower level.
  • A remote key was found in the pocket of a coat hanging in the Kollel back entrance coat room. If you are missing a key with the word Jeep on it please contact Rabbi Prupas ASAP.
  • The P'TACH Purim costume rental gmach is ready to fill your Purim costume needs! We have over 200 costumes from infant to teen, lots of accessories and adult costumes too! The gmach is located at 29 Aberdale Road in Bala Cynwyd and has open hours on Sundays from 12:30-2:30. Appointments at other times are also available. Please call Shira Kupfer at  7189304958  with any questions or to set up an appointment. Prices are $8 to rent first costume, $6 each additional costume. Family max $36.
  • Rabbi Mordechai Young gives a weekly class for women every Sunday evening at 7:45 at the Poe's (400 Gary Lane in Bala Cynwyd). Now learning Koheles. All women and young ladies are welcome!

  • Parsha Shiur by Rabbi Ungar of Etz Chaim-  a dynamic shiur on the Parsha- please join us for an unforgettable shiur every Monday night at Jeff and Daryl Klein's home at 161 Union Avenue at 8:15 p.m.
  • A message from the Lower Merion Community Mikvah Comittee. The response to the Lower Merion Community Mikvah campaign mailing has been wonderful and we are deeply appreciative of everyone who has responded. An updated donor list will be published at the beginning of next week. If you have not yet made a pledge but would like to be included, please let us know by Monday evening. The pledge card can be found by clicking here. Please email Dvasha Stollman at dvasha@gmail.com for questions. Pledge cards should be returned to the Lower Merion Synagogue office.
