Kaleidoscope Play & Learn (KPL) works with Family, Friend, and Neighbor caregivers and parents to support them in preparing children for success in school and life through quality early childhood experiences. With an established promising practice model, weekly facilitated KPL groups are meeting around WA and 8 other states around the country.


Are you interested in being the first to host a Pierce County KPL group?


This current funding opportunity in Pierce County is for in-person facilitation of weekly KPL group meetings running from January 2023 till June 30th 2023. The $14,000 funding includes training for new facilitator/s, curriculum, supportive materials, evaluation, technical assistance and operating expenses.

  • Virtual informational session – October 20, 2022

  • Affiliate receiving the funding will be informed – November 15, 2022
  • Funding decision announced – December 1, 2022
  • Contract for new group funding is signed and funding is provided – December 15, 2022
