KQ COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES GRAND PRIZE WINNER OF NATIONAL ‘SMALL BUSINESS REBOOT’ CONTEST

Minority-owned small businesses nationwide competed to win a free brand makeover
valued at $10,000

Memphis, Tenn. - From a strong pool of applicants across the Southeast, Savannah State University National Alumni Association-Metro Atlanta Chapter (SSUNAA) won the Small Business Reboot contest created by award-winning PR and branding firm KQ Communications.

Created to provide pro bono services for minority-owned/operated businesses to boost their brands, the contest provides a new visual identity package and marketing collateral valued at $10,000.

“Selecting the SSUNAA- Metro Atlanta Chapter for this rebranding means much to our chapter,” said John Clark, president of the SSUNAA-Metro Atlanta Chapter. “We have worked hard over the past decade to market ourselves to serve Savannah State better. By having professional branding from KQ Communications, we will be better positioned to attract more corporate and civic partners/sponsors and gain the attention of prospective students to our illustrious University by the Sea!”

Since its inception in 1960, the SSUNAA- Metro Atlanta Chapter has made significant strides in supporting students' educational journeys. The association has provided a $300,000 scholarship for Savannah State University students. In 2023 alone, the SSUAA awarded scholarships totaling $26,000, reflecting their unwavering dedication to empowering the next generation.

“We are excited to provide this comprehensive branding package for such a deserving organization as the Savannah State University Alumni Association,” said Renee Malone, president of KQ Communications. “We hope our services will further assist their awesome community and education efforts.”
