Featured case summary: Hospital Climate Initiative

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services launched the Health Sector Climate Pledge as a voluntary commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve climate resilience within the healthcare industry. By signing this pledge, a hospital commits to reducing 50% of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and cutting to net zero by 2050.
