Pre-Conference Workshop

A pre-conference workshop takes place Wednesday morning with lunch included. SHRM members are $125 and non-SHRM pay $175. The option to attend is included in the registration form. Join past Trombold winners in a panel discussion discussing best HR practices.

Concourse Carnival

Join us Thursday following the educational sessions for a Sky Club carnival in the concourse. The cost for all attendees is $25 and the proceeds go toward the SHRM Foundation. The option to attend is included in the registration form. More information below, including a chance to win!

You are now free to move about the country! All registered carnival attendees joining the Thursday social event will be eligible for a Southwest gift card drawing! The conference takes place at the Overland Park Convention Center and lodging is available at the adjoining Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center. The block is full but you may call for availability.

An overflow block has been added at the Courtyard Kansas City Overland Park/Convention Center for $139/night.

Lactation Rooms Available

KS SHRM supports lactating moms! We will have private and comfortable lactation rooms with a mini fridge and all the amenities a nursing mom needs. Contact the KS SHRM Office to RSVP. The Lactation Space is compliments of Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition, Inc.

Honor Flight Network

KS SHRM is proud to support the Honor Flight Network of Kansas City as this year's community engagement partner. The Honor Flight Network is a national non-profit organization whose primary goal is to honor veterans of the United States military. In appreciation of their service, they fly Veterans for free to Washington, DC to visit and to reflect at various memorials. These trips are completely funded by corporate and private donations. Meet some of the heroes behind the Heroes in September!
