We are a local disc golf club that runs local events and looks after two course in town.

Tell us something that not everyone would know about your sport?
Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports today.
What are your proudest accomplishments or achievements that
you would like to highlight from some of your members?
Every year we host an "ice bowl" event to raise money for kids sport and the Food Bank. We broke records again this year with 501 lbs of food and $3370 raised.
What have you been working on lately?
We have been growing our membership to numbers we have not seen before and adding more courses to the area.
What is an inspiring moment that you have
witnessed from one of your members?
A mother and daughter had their disc golf gear stolen, and one of our members, Carrie Newl, spearheaded a fundraiser which raised over $700 worth of gear.
What are some future goals as an organization and/or for your members?
Future goals would be to hit 200 members this year and have multiple options for them to play including clinics, tournaments, etc.
Who are some volunteers that you would like to highlight in your community for their work and dedication?
Carrie Neal, Ben Laidlaw, Colin McDaniel, Wes Eccelston, and the entire board of KDGC.
Where would you like to see positive changes in Kamloops sports and recreation and why?
To be inclusive: women, elderly, and disabled. All should have a safe/comfortable environment to take park in any sport they choose.
What do you think makes Kamloops a great sporting community?
The city love for being the tournament capital. It is part of what makes hosting event here so fun!

Disc golf is a great family sport, and Kamloops has two excellent courses that are free to play!
