Kansas students take center stage at

FBLA competition in Topeka

Chloe Johnson, the outgoing 2025-26 president of the Kansas Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter, had some wise words for her fellow FBLA members this week as they were about to walk on the stage to receive their 2026 Kansas State Leadership Conference competition awards.

“No matter what happens when your name is called or if it isn't, know this: Every single one of you has already made your mark through your courage, your commitment, and your willingness to lead,” she said. “Get ready to cheer each other on, celebrate big moments, and make this a time to remember.”

Allen worked as a paraeducator for two years. Her natural connection with children, her willingness to step in when needed, and her presence didn’t go unnoticed. John Cox, superintendent of USD 242, had seen a spark in her.
