KSTP TV just contacted us and the reporter has been assigned to a different story. We are still gathering on the avenue -- Summit and Cleveland -- at 11 am. We'll take a group photo and hear what Bob and Gary have to say on the lawsuit, and see our new map of Summit Avenue showing "last construction" dates. The Taft administration is not represented.....

 Dear SOS Supporters,

It's time to gather on the avenue again! We'd love to have your support this coming Sunday. Here's why:

You may have noted coverage in the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune this week following the civil complaint filed against Mayor Carter's administration by SOS in Ramsey County Courts. We'll share the links below.

Meanwhile, we have KSTP TV interested in doing a story on Sunday and visuals matter in TV. Reporter Renee Cooper will be interviewing our stalwart leaders, Gary Todd and Bob Cattanach, at 11 a.m., on Sunday, October, 26 at Cleveland and Summit. Would you like to join us on the median? No public speaking necessary, just show your support for accountable governance, for seeking answers, for truth before taxation and assessments for Summit Avenue reconstruction and added bike trails.

Bring your lawn sign or any other expression you'd like to display.

Meet us on the west side of Summit and Cleveland shortly before 11 a.m.

Here are links to stories published this week by Fred Melo in the Pioneer Press and Josie Albertson-Grove in the Star Tribune.

2025.10.21 Pioneer Press: City altered criteria to accelerate Summit Avenue bike trail, opponents say

2025.10.23 Star Tribune: Summit Avenue bike lane feud runs through St. Paul mayoral race

In the meantime, election day is right around the corner for our next mayor of Saint Paul.

  • Study up on the candidates and make plans to VOTE.

  • Display an SOS sign! It's a good way to show the City that opposition to the SART plan has not dwindled. Here's a link to order: Order Lawn Sign

  • Do you have questions about what will happen next? How it may impact you? Gather your neighbors, and we will send an SOS Steering Committee member to answer your questions. Call or email Gary Todd: grtodd@comcast.net or call 651-470-4720.

Thank you all for your continued engagement!
