Dear KTAC Community,

I would like to begin by thanking everyone for the incredibly warm welcome as I step into my role as Executive Director of Kitsap Tennis & Athletic Center. I am truly honored to join the KTAC family and excited for the opportunity to serve this amazing community.

I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to the KTAC Board of Directors for believing in me and handing me the "keys to the Corvette." I don't take that responsibility lightly, and I look forward to working alongside our members, volunteers, staff, and Board as we continue building an even stronger KTAC as we move toward 2027.

Over the coming months, you'll begin to see improvements to many of our systems and processes—both behind the scenes and in the way we serve our members. Our goal is simple: to create a smoother, more enjoyable experience for everyone who walks through our doors. While change can sometimes be challenging, it also creates opportunities to grow and improve. Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and support as we make these important updates together.

Please join me in welcoming our newest team members, Olivia Foster Villalobos and Veronica Cruz, along with our newest volunteer, Zack Tabanera-McKinsey. We are excited to have them as part of the KTAC team and know they will make valuable contributions to our community.

Thank you as well to everyone who has already taken the time to complete our member survey. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and I personally look forward to reading every response. If you haven't had a chance to complete the survey yet, I encourage you to do so. Your ideas and input will help shape the future of KTAC, and together we can continue making our club a place we're all proud to call home.

Be sure to mark your calendar for our Annual Membership Appreciation Picnic on Saturday, August 15, from 1:00–3:00 PM! This is one of our favorite events of the year and a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, connect with fellow members, meet our staff, and celebrate the incredible community that makes KTAC such a special place. You do not need to bring anything, but if you'd like to bring side dish or dessert, you are more than welcome to. We hope to see you there!

As summer begins to wind down, I want to take a moment to thank our amazing members and dedicated employees for making it a wonderful season at KTAC. While it's hard to compete with the beautiful Pacific Northwest summer weather, we're grateful that so many of you continue to make KTAC a part of your lives.

We're looking forward to an exciting fall with our members returning to the courts, pool, fitness classes, and programs. There is a lot of positive momentum as we continue moving forward under the leadership of our new Executive Director, Eric Moe. If you haven't had the chance to meet Eric yet, I encourage you to join us at our Membership Appreciation Picnic on Saturday, August 15, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. It's a great opportunity to meet him and connect with fellow members.

I'm also pleased to welcome our two newest Board members, Mary Bogard and Cristina Mejia. They each bring valuable professional experience and fresh perspectives, and we're excited to have them join the KTAC Board of Directors.

As always, one of our top priorities is growing our membership and strengthening KTAC's future. If you enjoy being part of our community, please help spread the word to friends, family, and neighbors who may be looking for a welcoming place to stay active.
