Welcome to February 2024! January had its ups and downs. The 18 to 50 degree days wreaked havoc on the HVAC systems at KTAC. Our HVAC systems did not like the roller coaster effect. We are almost out of the woods for repairs. I hope February does not bring any more surprises.

I would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our Kitsap Kids Learn 2 Swim program at the Winter Ball. It was a great night of fundraising, camaraderie, and support for this great program. We had some great auction items, amazing desserts, and very fine skills on the dance floor. I want to give a big shout-out to all who helped with this great event! Barbara Floro, Chris Stewart, Elizabeth Barnes, Broden Wick, Isabella Topham, Brianna Murphy, Paula Frederick, Jeremey Wilsey and many more. I want to thank my son Billy, and his girlfriend Jocee for being our volunteer bartenders and keeping everyone happy so they could bid more on our auction items! LOL! It was a very fun night.

January was a good month for us and we have many new people that have joined our KTAC family. I want to welcome all of you new members and all of you who still support KTAC and its mission to serve the community. I am grateful for all of you and look forward to meeting the new ones.

BIRC Retains Kitsap Cup Again!

The Kitsap Cup is the premier tennis event contested between the Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center (KTAC) and the Bainbridge Island Recreation Center (BIRC). The Kitsap Cup competition is a mixed doubles match pitting 2 lines of [9.0,] 8.0, 7.0, and 6.0 doubles to earn the right to hold the prestigious Kitsap Cup.
