Walk in the Park

Saturday, November 16, join us for our monthly Walk in the Park! Meet at 9am in DAC 411 before we head out for about a 30 minute walk/jog of a planned route. We'll return for coffee, water, fruit and health-based discussion paired with scripture. Join this gathering led by Robyn Askam to learn how to be better stewards of our bodies. All fitness levels welcome.
The Cloud of Witnesses
Hebrews 12:1-12
Join us this weekend to celebrate All Saints Day. United Methodists call all those who exemplify the Christian life "saints." Come and learn what it means to honor the saints who have gone before us as well as the saints who sit beside us.

Saturday - communion will be served
5pm - with Praise Band

8:15am - with Traditional Hymns
9:30am - with Praise Band and communion
11am - with Chancel Choir

**Don't forget we fall back this Sunday at 2am so set your clocks back 1 hour before you go to bed!**
Meaningful Imagery
Most of us can only imagine how much work goes into writing a sermon each week. But what about the other components of worship? Musicians rehearse, worship guides get proofed and printed, but what about the images around our worship experience?  Read more here!

Time of Remembrance

Join us for a brief but meaningful time  Sunday, November 3 , at 2pm in the Prayer Garden, where we lift up the names of those loved ones that have died since last All Saints. KUMC celebrates their lives through our pastoral care ministry as we walk with their families. It is at this time that the eternal hope experienced through the risen Christ Jesus reminds us that we do not walk alone.
Church Conference and Potluck
November 10, 12:15-1:30pm, every member of KUMC is invited to participate in this Church Conference, the "business meeting" of the church where we look at next year's budget, leadership positions, pastor's salary, reconnect with lost members and affirm any candidates for ministry in the UMC. All members have voice and vote at this Conference, chaired by District Superintendent Rev. Dr. Randy Wild. Nursery will be provided. B ring your favorite dish to share potluck style as we take care of important business for our church.  Volunteers and paper goods are needed. Youth are encouraged to sign-up to receive service hours.
Sharing the Joy
Alternative Gift Market

The 10th Annual Sharing the Joy, sponsored by United Methodist Women, is just around the corner, November 16-17. Each week we will feature organizations that will be with us this year. As always, the organizations represented at Sharing the Joy offer unique, one-of-a-kind products that support artisans around the world.  Learn more about these fair trade organizations here...
College Care Thank You
A big thank you to all who adopted college students for the 2019-20 school year - all 81 of them! We have new KUMC families participating, both providing their student information to participate, and those who have adopted students.  We also have many members who have been around for a while that are new to adopting this year.
A huge shout out to Journey UMW circle for partnering with us. They did a wonderful job of making calls, labeling boxes, and being at the Welcome Desk for both adoption weekends!  Please read the Adopter information sheet carefully for important changes. All boxes need to be returned no later than November 10 and don't forget the $8 for postage!
Yoga for Everyday Practice

Invite your body to participate in your spiritual and emotional practice in a basic yoga class right here at Keller UMC! Yoga is mind, body and spirit connection, and here you will learn a variety of breath and physical techniques that you can take off your mat and into your daily practices. Join us Mondays, 9-10am in DAC 412 starting November 18. Come for one class or all!
