Youth Ministries
(7th-12th Grade)

New Confirmation Class Begins September 8!

This is a class to help young students (7th grade or older who have not been confirmed) understand Methodism, who we are, where we came from, what we believe and begin to own their faith journey. It is a time when students can begin to ask the hard questions of what they believe and where they fall into the big picture. We help them begin to form a personal relationship with Christ that will hopefully set them on a path of inquisition. Register here by September 4!

Confirmation Parent Meetings
Calendar, curriculum, expectations for students/parents, as well as serving obligations will be discussed. This will be the opportunity for parents to complete paperwork as well as ask questions. Choose the date that works best for you!
August 18, 12:15pm or  August 20, 6pm
in the YAC

Sharing Christ's Love
in the Community

KUMC's Resource Center provided your donated school supplies to area students by partnering with KISD's Back to School Bash. The families and students attending the Back to School Bash were invited by the district because they are recipients of the reduced or free lunch program within Keller ISD. During the Bash, students also received immunizations, free books, face painting, backpacks and much more. Thanks to your generosity, over 175 kids are now ready to go back to school! Serving in Facilities

Do you have professional skills that you are willing to share with the church? We have some great ways for you to connect and serve!  With KUMC's large campus and numerous buildings, there is always something that needs to be repaired. KUMC's Facilities is looking for professionals within the congregation who have expertise in a variety of areas and who are willing to consult on facility projects and/or have the ability to provide materials/parts/services at a reduced cost. Areas of expertise include; landscaping, engineering, construction, electrical, plumbing, foundations and contract review. If you work in one of these fields and are willing to share your expertise with the church please contact Pastor Page.

3rd-5th Grade Bible Retreat

September 13-14, our third, fourth and fifth graders head to Glen Lake Camp for a weekend break from school where they learn how to use their Bible during worship and small group activities. There will also be plenty of time to enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing and games with old friends and new friends you'll meet from other churches. Kids will become more familiar and comfortable in using their Bible, connecting to God, while enjoying fellowship and bonding with their peers.

Note: We will need adult chaperones and drivers to assist with the retreat! Please prayerfully consider serving!
