Christmas Decoration Take Down

Friday, January 3, Mary Fran Highsmith and her crew of wonderful decorators will be taking down Christmas decor. We need strong arms to help move packed decorations to the FLC. High school students can earn service hours! If drivers with pickup trucks are available on Friday, decorations should be ready by 1pm to transport from the FLC to the Hallelujah Center. However, if you are only available with a pickup truck on the morning of Saturday, January 4, that works too. If you are available either day, please contact Kim Kuhlman.
What are You Doing on Wednesdays?
January 15 we kick off our first nine weeks of Wednesdays at Keller!

We'll start with a bring your own dinner in the Family Life Center at 6pm followed by a variety of small group options at 6:30pm.

Details on these groups may be found on our website under Events. This session features a Pastor's Bible Study, Financial Peace University, a small group just for young families and Sundays on Wednesdays at a new, evening time!

Watch for details on these and won't want to miss out on these opportunities! Childcare will be available.

Contact Pastor Lauren for details!
Tree Planting Volunteers Needed

The Trustees Committee is seeking adult and youth volunteers to assist with planting of replacement trees and shrubs on the church campus Saturday, January 11, from 12-4pm, or Saturday, January 18, from 9am to 1pm, weather permitting. If interested in helping, please sign up at the Welcome Desk between worship services or contact Bob Whetson
Early Access to the Online Directory

Is your small group interested in signing up early for the Keller UMC Online Directory? If you would like a staff member to visit your group for about 20 minutes at one of your regular meetings in January, we can sign up anyone who is interested and actually go through the process of downloading the app and signing in. You have to opt in to be included in the directory or access it, so the more people who participate, the more useful it can be for everyone.  Sunday morning slots in January are almost full! If your small group meets at a different time, please contact  Victoria Wilson to schedule a visit.
Resource Center
Volunteer Training

Have you thought about volunteering at the Resource Center? TAFB is rolling out new requirements for food pantries and Civil Rights Training for all volunteers in contact with clients. Training will be for all current volunteers and those interested in volunteering. Training will include Civil Rights Training, new guidelines for pantries along with lunch provided by Beki Picus. You are invited to join us  Saturday, January 11, at 11:30am in DAC 410.
Backpack Delivery Drivers Needed

Do you have a couple of hours a week to spare? We need delivery/retrieval drivers for the Backpack Ministry. We deliver backpacks to Florence, Keller Harvel and Caprock Elementary. Tub retrievals are made on Mondays or Tuesdays and backpack deliveries are made on Thursdays or Fridays. Driver schedule is a rotation schedule, so you will only be needed to make deliveries/retrievals once or twice a month. If you are available and interested, please contact Cathy Dill or call 817-431-1332.
