Many thanks to all the people who helped take down the Christmas decorations! Mary Fran Highsmith and her team of volunteers always do a great job, and this year the take down process ran smoothly and quickly thanks to additional help!  Youth volunteers were a wonderful addition! Bulletins and Kid's Packets - Each week, a team of two people comes the Church Offices to get our worship bulletins and kid's packets ready for the weekend. This is usually done on Friday mornings, but day can change due to holidays or special worship services.
Pew Pockets - Each week, usually on Wednesday mornings, teams of 2-3 people come in to put items into our pew back pockets. These items include text- to-give cards, envelopes and prayer request cards.
If you would be interested in any of these service opportunities, please contact Kim Kuhlman.

Invite the body to participate in your spiritual and emotional practice in this basic yoga class. Should be able to transition from floor to standing with ease. Mondays 9-10am in DAC 412 from January 13-March 2. Come to one class or come to all! Email Kristi Bjerke if you have any questions.
Climate Justice

For 2020, KUMC and Keller United Methodist Women are joining together to promote stewardship of our Earth. As stated in the Book of Resolutions of the United Methodist Church: "...we understand that God is calling each of us to respond to (the impact of global climate change) and that as a denomination we cannot hope to transform the world until we change our way of being in it."

We have decided to focus our response in segments throughout the year: air, land, fresh water and salt water. We'll give an overview of current trends and will challenge you to make a difference.

Our focus for the first quarter of 2020 is Air. Click for details and a kid-friendly carbon footprint survey!
