The Kennebec Valley Chamber is a proud host of Ironman 70.3 Maine again this summer! The race will be on Sunday, July 30th.
The atmosphere surrounding this race is electric as thousands of athletes, visitors, spectators, and locals gather together to support this amazing event. This race consists of a 1.2 mile swim in the Kennebec River, a 56 mile bike ride through the surrounding towns of Augusta, and a 13.1 mile run on the Kennebec River Rail Trail.

GOLDEN POND WEALTH MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES, KATHERINE HIGGINS PASSES HER SERIES 7 EXAM- We are pleased to announce that Katherine Higgins, Relationship Manager has successfully completed the requirements for her Series 7 investment securities license. The exam focuses on stocks and bonds, investment risk and interactions with clients. Katherine is now preparing for the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law exam.

Support Anthony, and Lallis & Higgins Insurance’s mission to raise $50,000 to help support families battling blood Cancers by donating here. Anthony Lallis of Lallis & Higgins Insurance has accepted the nomination of running as Boston’s 2023 Leukemia and Lymphoma All-Star Visionary of the year to raise funds to help with patient support. Anthony is the 2017 LLS New England Chapter Man of the Year winner, and raised over $50,000 thanks to his hard work, support from friends, family, and business partners. This year Anthony’s mission as an All-Star is to raise another $50,000 to help with patient support.
The Leukemia Lymphoma Society provided $241 million in financial assistance to over 42,000 patients in 2021 alone. The challenge to keep funds available to those in need has become greater with LLS seeing a 30% increase in requests for assistance last year.
