KWAOR BRINGS THE LOVE FOR Shut-In Seniors

The KWAOR Community Outreach Committee has partnered with three local assisted living
and nursing home communities to ensure that residents and staff members receive a Valentine's Day treat.
 
Thanks to volunteers Betsy Alexander, Paula Allin, Mary Coutu, Corey Dimaline,
Dianne Edson, Shannon Krasnowiecki, Deb Main, and Kelly Moran
for making calls, assembling the valentines and candy pictured

NAR Seeks Nominees for Good Neighbor Awards

The National Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Awards recognize REALTORS® who have made an extraordinary impact on their community, or on the national or world stage, through volunteer work.

The Good Neighbor Awards was launched in 2000 and has since recognized nearly 200 REALTORS® for their service to their communities.

The Volunteering Works Program is a spinoff, allowing NAR members to be mentored by past award winners.

Nominate yourself or someone else today!
Deadline: May 7, 2021

Five winners are announced each fall and are recognized annually at the REALTORS® Conference & Expo, and receive $10,000 grants for their charities. In addition to the winners, five honorable mentions each receive a $2,500 grant. You'll need your NAR Member number (NRDS ID).
Deadline: February 26, 2021

Winners receive a $1000 grant for a nonprofit they are involved with and a year of mentoring from a Good Neighbor to help the organization grow or achieve a set goal.
You'll need your NAR Member number (NRDS ID).
