President's Note

Dear Neighbors,

I hope everyone is continuing to enjoy their summer!

As many of you have seen, the County is finishing up a large paving project on Woodland Road. As I am writing this letter to you all, the latest update from the County estimates completion by Wednesday, August 5. This will be followed by a similar repaving project on Rancheria on August 5 and 6. I want to thank Marin County for this work, and especially our district's Supervisor Brian Colbert's office for their continued support of Kent Woodlands.

There is more paving planned throughout our neighborhood this year and next, please see the image below for those plans. Affected residents should typically be notified by the County with actual work dates and we will continue to share what we know as our office has continued to stay in touch with DPW as we understand driving times and parking are indeed impacted during the work.

On that page, you’ll find a link to an interactive map that shows all the paving planned in Kent Woodlands over the next few years. 2027 Board of Directors Election:

Call for Candidates

Candidate nominations for election to the 2027 KWPOA Board of Directors are open. There are 3 board seats up for election. The 3 candidates receiving the highest number of votes will receive a 2-year term. Voting will occur in the weeks leading up to the January 2027 Annual Membership Meeting.

You may submit your candidacy either by mail to KWPOA, PO Box 404, Kentfield, CA 94914-0404 OR by email to info@kwpoa.com. Your submission must include your name, your Kent Woodlands property address, and an email address and/or phone number.

Qualifications: A candidate must be a natural person and a Member (owner in chain of title) of the

Association. If title is held by a Trust, the Trustee(s) named on title is the Member(s) for purposes of candidacy (and voting).

Deadline: Candidacy submissions must be received by KWPOA by 5:00pm on October 30, 2026.

If, at the close of nominations, the number of candidates is equal to or less than the number of open seats, the board may seat the qualified candidates by acclamation without balloting.
