Dear Neighbors,

Spring is a beautiful time in Kent Woodlands, and I welcome our residents of all ages to join us at our Food Truck event on Sunday, May 31st from 5:30-7:30 p.m. We've made some changes this year: the KWPOA will be providing complimentary wine, beer and kids drinks, and we're happy to welcome Lucia’s! Their authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas are known for their perfectly baked crusts, locally sourced ingredients, and authentic flavors, all created in a custom-built wood-burning oven mounted on the back of a 1981 Piaggio APE P601. Check them out on Instagram (@luciasberkeley) or their website at luciasberkeley.com. Finally, Kona Ice will be back with snow cones for the kids and kids-at-heart.  

And for those of you with young children, please join us for a spring get-together on Sunday, May 17th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Ross Common near the playground. This is for Kent Woodlands families with young (pre- or early-elementary age) children. The KWPOA will be providing face-painting and snacks for the kids. Please feel free to stop by for some or all of the time to meet and connect with your neighbors! Also, we are looking for volunteers (ideally with pre-elementary age children) to help plan these events.
