We are most fortunate that our most precious Spiritual Director and Guru, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, has kindly agreed to give a series of teachings and initiations at ABC in August 2022.

Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche will give teachings on Thought Transformation and Lam Rim (Stages of the Path to Enlightenment), and also continue his commentary on the Lama Chöpa (Guru Puja) first started in 2018 and 2019.
The teachings on Thought Transformation, Lam Rim and the initial sessions of the Lama Chöpa commentary will be open to all without any prerequisites, and will also be streamed live on FPMT Facebook and YouTube.
Restricted Sessions of Lama Chöpa Commentary
The subsequent restricted sessions of the Lama Chöpa commentary will be open only to successful registrants meeting the prerequisites.
Prerequisites
· Have received a great initiation of highest yoga tantra, such as Heruka Chakrasamvara, Guhyasamaja or Yamantaka.
· Have faith in and respect for the Guru.
· Not be a Shugden/Dogyal practitioner.
· Keep the lifetime practice commitment stated below.
Lifetime Practice Commitment
· To do the Lama Chöpa every day, or if that is difficult, to do the Lama Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga every day.

(3) Five-Deity Heruka Initiation (Ghantapa/Drilbupa tradition)

Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche will be conferring the Five-Deity Heruka Initiation and the Heruka Body Mandala Initiation. The initiations will be on-site only. You may register for either one of the initiations or both the initiations, provided you meet the prerequisites as set out below.
Five-Deity Heruka Initiation
Prerequisites
· Be familiar with the lam-rim teachings.
· Have faith in and respect for the Guru.
· Not be a Shugden/Dogyal practitioner.
· Keep the lifetime practice commitments stated below.
· Attend all sessions of the initiation.
Lifetime Practice Commitments
· To keep the bodhisattva and tantric vows.
· To do the daily practice of the Six-Session Guru Yoga.
· To do the daily practice of the Five-Deity Heruka Short Sadhana.
Heruka Body Mandala Initiation
Prerequisites
· Be familiar with the lam-rim teachings.
· Have faith in and respect for the Guru.
· Not be a Shugden/Dogyal practitioner.
· Keep the lifetime practice commitments stated below.
· Attend all sessions of the initiation.
· EITHER: Have previously received the Five-Deity Heruka Initiation of the Ghantapa/Drilbupa tradition, and have been doing the daily practice of the Six-Session Guru Yoga, and either the Five-Deity Heruka Short Sadhana or the Yoga of Three Purifications OR: Will be receiving the Five-Deity Heruka Initiation on 19-23 Aug.
Lifetime Practice Commitments
· To keep the bodhisattva and tantric vows.
· To do the daily practice of the Six-Session Guru Yoga.
· To do the daily practice of Five-Deity Heruka Short Sadhana and the Yoga of Three Purifications. Rinpoche is kindly allowing students who have received both the Five-Deity Heruka Initiation and Heruka Body Mandala Initiation from him, and who are too busy serving the dharma centre or FPMT, to do only the Yoga of Three Purifications instead of both practices.
