This affinity group will serve as a space for white folks in OST to practice anti-racism-- navigating our racial identities within our organizational roles, holding one another and ourselves accountable, and moving from talk to action in lifting up the needs and voices of our fellow BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) staff and youth. Together, we will make mistakes and process what we need to process so that we are ready to bring our best selves and "do the work" wherever we go.
10:30-11am: Collectively create the agenda (optional, but encouraged)
11am-12:30pm: Group discussion
If you cannot make this time/date, but would like to participate, please reach out to [email protected] with your availability for future scheduling.
If you do not identify as White, please disregard this meeting and stay tuned for other upcoming offerings, including our Black & Brown OST Leaders Affinity Group.
