KABBALAT SHABBAT

Pre-Oneg at 6:00 p.m.

Services at 6:30 p.m.

It is important to be together in community-

we strengthen one another. Please bring friends!

This in-person service will also have Zoom access.

Join Rabbi Sharfman and our Cantorial Soloists for in-person and multi-access Kabbalat Shabbat.

November birthdays and anniversaries will be celebrated during the service.

We encourage you - and welcome you - to attend services in person. Zoom will be available to those who are out of town or can’t physically attend.

We look forward to welcoming Shabbat with you!

Young families: We know services often end too late for your little ones.

Please feel free to come, stay to light candles at the beginning of services, and leave whenever you need to.

This Shabbat morning at 10:30 a.m. Rabbi will be leading Torah Talk via Zoom. Please RSVP directly to Ellen Lerman, lermanell@aol.com.

Erica and Jared Erman's videos for Shabbat candle lighting, Kiddush, and Motzi

Thank you to Erica and Jared for welcoming us in their home. Erica mentions some of the reasons we have two loaves of challah on Shabbat, to which we add that there are two commandments regarding Shabbat in the Torah: Shamor (Keep Shabbat) and Zachor (Remember Shabbat).

We hear these in L'cha Dodi, too, when we learn that these two commandments were given in one breath!
Blessing over Shabbat candles
Kiddush - Blessing Over Wine/Grape Juice
Motzi - Blessing Over Challah
