TOUR: .0 (Point Zero) and Touch Are Going To MEXICO

We are excited to announce that in just over a month the company has been invited to showcase Allen's .0 and Karen's Touch (inspired by Crave) at six cities in Mexico as part of the Red Noroeste de Festivales de Danza en Mexico. We are the first Ontario company to be invited to participate and are so excited for the opportunity to represent Canada on the international stage and connect with presenters from across Mexico and the southern United States.

.0 (Point Zero)
Choreography By: Allen Kaeja
.0 is unpredictable. The result of any decision has a myriad of consequences. Impulse driven, a volatile environment, six dancers propel, distract, encourage and interfere each others erratic choices. Immediacy, instinct and the vulnerability of our senses.
  • "[Allen Kaeja's] choreography is powerfully physical." The Toronto Star
  • "Daring ... where there are no boundaries...spunk, subtle poignancy and unmistakable sense of humour."  by Deirdre Kelly, Critics at Large
  • "(Allen) uses a demanding athletic vocabulary. Karen is fiercely beautiful with hard features and a mass of thick burgundy hair. When she dances, her reserve turns into something almost violently intense." The Globe and Mail

Choreography By: Karen Kaeja

Dancers: Michael Caldwell and St├ęphanie Tremblay Abubo
Touch is an emotional landscape of intimacy inspired by Crave, choreographed by Karen Kaeja.
  • "One of Karen's finest works, a poignant exploration of a romantic relationship" in all its sweet and hideous colours. The final image is absolutely haunting." Globe and Mail
  • "A disarming and beautiful exploration is precisely what Crave achieves in gorgeous individual form." Bateman reviews
