KAEJA 2018 INTENSIVE
Date: November 5-9, 2018
Time: 10AM-3PM
Where: Dovercourt House
(805 Dovercourt Rd., T.O., 2nd Floor)

Public Showing of created work will take place Friday, November 9 at 2pm.

During this week-long dance intensive , current investigations by each of the Kaeja’s will be excavated and shared. Participants will also collaborate in building a scored work with Karen and Allen Kaeja , devising ensemble physical engagement and harnessing personal material through kinetic partnering,
sensorial and theatrical investigations.

KAEJA ELEVATIONS
CERTIFICATION COURSE

Become a certified  Kaeja Elevations®  ( KE ) teacher in this class taught by Allen Kaeja ! KE is an approach to partnering where all genders, experience and physique are on a level playing field. Rooted in contact improvisation, KE relies on the architectural structure of two bodies interacting while complimented by gravity, momentum, propulsion, breath and flow. In this 5-day course, you will get the tools you need to teach students and dancers to work collectively to safely soar through the air and surpass their expectations.
 
All certified teachers receive the following:
-A certificate of completion (annual renewal fees apply)
-Ability to advertise themselves as a certified KE teacher
-A listing on our website highlighting them as a registered KE teacher
-Online access to our digital KE video library ​including:
tutorials, demonstrations, and KE in performance
