A retreat aimed at older High School teens who are looking to step away from regular life and connect with God for three days of retreat. March 20-22, 2020 at a house on the river near Williamsburg.
What is it?
As High School students your lives are often scheduled to the minute, each day packed with the rigors of school, sports, extra curricular activities, family, jobs, and a million other responsibilities. Kairos (Greek for God's time) gives students a chance to disconnect from every day life and live on God's time. We'll have opportunities to hang out with each other, share our stories, receive sacraments, pray, worship, and recharge.
What is expected?
This retreat is completely optional, no one is forced to attend. Because of this, we expect a mature level of participation and investment in the experience. The retreat asks that students be open, generous, and ready to have a great weekend with each other and connecting to God.
Who can go?
Because this is the first time we've offered this retreat, we are staring small and will have spots for about 20 teens and 6 adults. We are focusing on older high school teens who are ready to encounter God in a deeper way.
