Since 2017, Kaiser Permanente has invested more than $13 million dollars as part of its long-term commitment to help rebuild and support wildfire and flood recovery efforts. We acknowledge the importance of basic needs, such as housing, education, and mental health support, in the long-term health and viability of our community. Kaiser Permanente pledges $25M to state housing fund
Kaiser Permanente announced it will be a first private sector contributor to California Governor Gavin Newsom's newly announced fund to combat homelessness in the state, committing $25 million to the effort.
The 2020 grant making will be an invite-only process guided by our recent Community Health Needs Assessment and community engagement sessions that informed the development of our adopted health need priorities and their respective implementation strategies with a goal to address inequities in community health.

Kaiser Permanente Northern California is being lauded for achieving the highest possible rating in the state for behavioral and mental health care, and overall quality of medical care in the annual Health Care Quality Report Card from California's Office of the Patient Advocate. Read more here.
