Here's What to Know Before You Go!

Kaleideum is now open! Here are a few things to know before you go.

Current Hours:

Tuesday-Friday: 9 am-5 pm

Saturday & Sunday: 10 am-5 pm
Kaleideum will start Members Only Mondays from 9 am-Noon on April 1.
We will start First Fridays from 9 am-8 pm and Second Saturdays for 21+ April 1.

Parking:

Kaleideum’s preferred parking deck is the Liberty Plaza Parking Garage, located at 235 Town Run Lane. Parking is $2 per hour.

If you will be at the museum longer than two hours, you can purchase a parking pass at the Welcome Desk for $4. When you leave the LIberty Plaza Parking Garage, you will need to scan two things:

Scan the ticket you received upon arrival.
Scan the parking pass you purchased at Kaleideum. You will then be able to exit the parking deck at no charge.

The Liberty Plaza Parking Garage is not free on weekends.

Third Street in front of the museum is currently a construction zone. The street is closed to traffic.

The Hampton Inn's valet parking garage is for hotel guests.

Exhibits:

The Kaleideum Rooftop Adventure exhibition is NOT OPEN. This exhibit will be open in late spring/early summer depending on the weather.

Digital Dome:

If you are interested in seeing one of our Digital Dome shows, please purchase/reserve your tickets at the Welcome Desk. The 2 pm show is free, but you must reserve tickets.

It's time to get your new membership to Kaleideum — where lifelong learning collides with year-long discovery at a brand-new location in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem.

Starting April 1, we're bringing back Members Only Mondays from 9 am to Noon.

It's easy to buy a membership one of these three ways:

Complete the online membership form.
Call Kaleideum North at (336) 767-6730 and buy a membership over the phone.
Buy a membership with any of our Welcome Desk employees when you visit the museum.

The new membership pricing is:

Single (one person) $125
Double (two people) $150
Triple (three people) $175
Quadruple (four people) $200
Super (up to 10 people) $250
Super Plus (up to 10 people, validated parking, and annual fund donation) $500

Register for Our First Kids' Night Out at the Reimagined Kaleideum!

Friday, March 1

5:30-9 pm

Drop your kids off at Kaleideum and enjoy a few hours for YOU when you register for a Kids’ Night Out! Kids’ Night Out is for children in grades K-6. Pizza dinner and snacks are included. Drop-off starts at 5:15 pm, and we ask that all children be picked up no later than 9 pm.

Members: $25 for first child; $20 for each additional child. Non-members: $30 for first child; $25 for each additional child.

The kaleidoscopic adventure continues with a sensory pathway mural adorning the side of the museum along Town Run Lane.
