Story concert graphic of book being read

Everyone loves a good story!  True to its name, the Kaleidoscope ensemble presents a concert of songs spanning many musical styles and eras, each telling a different story of love, adventure, joy, or sadness, this Sunday at 3 p.m. in Alpharetta.  The program features standards such as "Skylark" and a medley of "I Love You/What a Wonderful World," as well as pieces by classical composers such as "Crown of Roses" (Tchaikovsky) and "Lebenslust" (Schubert) and songs from 21st century composers such as "Only In Sleep" (Eriks Esenvalds), "All of Us" from Considering Matthew Shepard (Craig Hella Johnson) and "Mother to Son" (Dwight Bigler), among others. Click here for the full list of songs to be performed.

Selected from the full MOS chorus and performing a diverse, constantly changing repertoire, the 37-voice  Kaleidoscope ensemble is known for its polished presentation of vocal music in styles ranging from Gregorian chant to 20th century compositions; from opera to vocal jazz; and from classical masterpieces to Broadway hits.
