The 2019 Kamloops Sports Council Annual Athletic Awards nominations are now open!   To nominate someone click HERE to complete the application.  Please submit the application by email to info@kamloopssportscouncil.com or by mail or person at the Kamloops Sports Council office at 
Unit 101 - 1550 Island Parkway, Kamloops, B.C. V2B 0H7.  Deadline for the nominations will be February 10th, 2020.

Gary Reed Invitational Meet

Our first Kamloops Track & Field Indoor meet of 2020 is the Gary Reed Indoor Invitational - Feb.7 and 8.
Athletes locally and across the province will be attending. All events will be held at the Tournament Capital Center.
Register on Trackie.ca to enter your events Gary Reed, a member of our Club, was a former 800-meter Canadian record holder, a six-time Canadian Champion and a Team Canada member at two Olympics (Silver medalist) and Six World Championships



Registration is now open for the Physical Literacy 501 Workshop held on February 22nd at 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Tournament Capital Center .

This workshop helps participants understand the importance of physical literacy development for participants with disabilities.

This workshop is part of the Kamloops Physical Literacy for Communities Initiative.

Spring is just around the corner, and with spring comes our mini rugby program! 
We had a great year last year and are expecting even more numbers in 2020, so be sure to register your little ones!

We are now accepting nominations for the 
2020 Hall of Fame inductees.  
This year we are looking to induct individuals and have a special interest  in teams being inducted into the Hall of Fame.  
 If you know of a team that has earned this recognition or an individual please send in their sport resume to

We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport™ provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.
 
KidSport Kamloops is a local chapter of KidSport Canada.  Funds raised locally are spent locally and are distributed as grants to cover registration and/or equipment fees associated with participation in a season of sport.
