IRIS Hacks

Interested in updating your organization’s Profile & Service Areas to become more visible to IRIS users seeking your services? When IRIS users select more than one service area (example: Behavioral Health & Psychiatry AND North Kane County) only organizations that have checked BOTH of those service areas in their profile will appear. Make sure you check the locations where you provide services to avoid missing out on potential referrals. Use our IRIS Profile & Service Area Checklist to maximize your referral potential.

Kane County IRIS Partners

Our IRIS community includes 99 partners representing multiple sectors, including: behavioral health, primary care, dental, parenting resources, substance use services, basic needs (e.g. food, clothing, and emergency shelter), senior services, juvenile and adult probation, early childhood, K-12 education, youth supports, COVID-19 resources, and more. View a list of current IRIS Partners. Organizations that joined after our Q1 Meeting are highlighted in yellow.

Greetings Kane County

IRIS Users!

We are excited to share our Q2 installment of the Kane County IRIS Community newsletter. This will be a helpful tool we will use to share data and valuable information in order to maximize our community's use of IRIS. Our newsletter will also feature a "Partner Spotlight" to share bright spots and increase awareness of the services and resources our partners offer. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or suggestions for ways we can improve IRIS.

Kane County Hunger Relief Network .png

Does your organization provide food and/or nutrition resources to our local community members? If you would like to learn more about the network and how to join, please email Kim at petersonkim@co.kane.il.us.

Kane County Hunger Relief Network

The Kane County Hunger Relief Network was established in 2021 by The University of Illinois extension (Kane & Kendall) and the Kane County AOK Network. We are a collaboration of community food and nutrition resource providers working together to provide a coordinated approach to hunger relief for all of our neighbors.

Please refer neighbors to KCHRN if they are struggling to meet their nutritive needs. The network will help connect them with nutrition services, food pantries and other food resources that will best meet their needs. KCHRN representatives will also talk neighbors through the process and help them prepare for visit to the appropriate food source.
