The Kane County IRIS community convened on September 9th, 2024, for our Year 4 Quarter 1 meeting. Our IRIS community now includes 209 partners representing multiple sectors, including behavioral health, primary care, dental, parenting resources, substance use services, basic needs (e.g. food, clothing, and emergency shelter), senior services, juvenile and adult probation, early childhood, K-12 education, youth support, veteran services and more.

IRIS Hits 100,000 Referrals!

IRIS marks a major milestone with its 100,000th referral. Now serving 82 counties across six states, IRIS provides vital services including advocacy and behavioral health support. Notably, the Kane County IRIS community is proud to contribute nearly 10% of all IRIS referrals, with a total of 9,382 referrals as of July 2024. Since its launch in 2016, IRIS has transformed how families access support, improving service delivery and streamlining the referral process. View Atlas

Kane County Launches New Health Data-Sharing Website


The Kane County Health Department has launched the Kane Health Atlas, an interactive website designed to provide community access to local health data.


Available at www.kanehealthatlas.org, the platform supports data exploration, analysis, and visualization in 10 languages.


It’s a valuable resource for health professionals, educators, policymakers, and local organizations to track health trends, enhance educational efforts, and develop informed policies and programs. Explore the Atlas to see how it can benefit our community.
