Kane County Student Photography Exhibition
We are pleased to announce the Kane County Student Photography Exhibition is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13. The event will be held at the  Batavia Fine Arts Center , 1201 Main St. in Batavia, IL. More details will follow in the coming weeks, but please distribute this around and help get the word out!

The ROE student photography contest is posted each week on  Kane County Connects and shared through our  Twitter feed along with our  Instagram profile once the post goes live. We encourage students and teachers to share the contest through social media to bring awareness to the event and add even more wonderful photos!

The Student Photography Contest is nearing the end! We only have two more weeks until the Photo Exhibition.

We've had some amazing submissions from talented school districts across Kane County in just the first two weeks.

Institute Day 2020 - Call For Presenters - TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
Institute Day will be on February 28, 2020! Call for Presenters is nearing the deadline and will close on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

The reason County-Wide is such a success year after year is because of the amazing presenters that willingly share their time and talents with others as a presenter. Please consider presenting at Institute Day this year and sharing your knowledge with others.

Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Public Budget Hearing
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) hosted a public hearing to submit funding requests for the state’s fiscal year 2021 budget for pre-k through 12th grade public education on November 21st, 2019.

ISBE budget hearings ask for feedback and information from programs regarding funding in order to draft their budget that is sent to the Governor and onto the General Assembly.

Alexis O. of DREAM Academy from U-46 shared her success story of how the DREAM Academy program helped her in becoming successful outside the traditional schools. Her voice helps in getting money from our state for more program funding in the future.
