🍔🏆 The Eatery Wins 2024 Cabarrus Burger Madness

Hopefully you had a chance to taste some, if not all, of the delicious burger creations during Cabarrus Burger Madness hosted by Explore Cabarrus.

The votes are in and there was a new winner this year – The Eatery at Southern Strain Brewing Company with their mouthwatering “Life's Gouda With Bacon Burger.”

Fun Fact: Burger Madness attracted diners from 5 states during its fourth year of competition, with participating restaurants selling a combined total of nearly 4,000 specialty burgers during the month of March.

Missed out on the winning burger? Fear not! The burger is now a permanent fixture on The Eatery menu.

Mint to Be of the Carolinas was created by Sharee Allen in 2020 with a range of services including counseling, financial literacy workshops, and community events.

In commemoration of its five-year journey of empowerment and support, they are hosting the Blooming Together Spring Gala. 🎟️ Tickets are $75 and can be purchased online.

🛼 The Avett Brothers Film Music Video at Local Roller Rink

The Avett Brothers, who grew up and still live here in Cabarrus County, recently released the official music video for "Country Kid," a single from their self-titled album due out May 17th. They chose one of their favorite spots to film their fun video, Frye’s Roller Rink, a Cabarrus County institution for families!
