Compliance Update | February 2025

As many of you know, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) ordered all federal agencies to temporarily block activities associated with the obligation and disbursement of all grants, loans, and other financial assistance by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28.

We realize many of you have questions related to payments for Section 8 Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) via Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) Contracts. HUD’s Office of Multifamily Housing Programs notified us that they received confirmation through OMB that rental assistance payments will not be paused, therefore, HAP vouchers for February 1, 2025 should be paid on schedule.

Thank you for your commitment to helping Kansans.
