Kansas SBDC Client Shout Out
Friction Beer Company
Friction Beer Company was established in 2017 by Brent Anderson and Nathan Ryerson. Since then, Friction Beer Company has expanded their business into a brand that not only offers quality beer in a taproom experience, but also online merchandise as well.

But, with great success comes great responsibility and Brent and Nathan took a few responsible steps behind the scenes to ensure that they would deliver the best service and products to their customers.

On their journey as business partners, Brent and Nathan reached out to the Kansas Small Business Development Center for assistance. Brent noted, “John and his team were not only personally invested and generous with their time, but his experience made us feel that much more confident when we jointly arrived at a good place with our projections.”

They also shared a piece of advice for those that may be wanting to start a new business of their own.

“Be patient,” said Brent. “As good as your idea and potential may be, it’s going to take longer than you expect and cost more than you expect.”
