In November, our family law team successfully modified a parenting plan to increase a father’s time sharing with his son. We achieved that success the morning of the trial without having to go through the process of a trial.

-Our family law team achieved a relocation of a mother and her child to another state.

-Six months ago, Kantaras Law took over a divorce case that had been pending for more than five years. Within six months, our family law team was able to set it for trial and then resolve it before the trial started.

-Our immigration team assisted a citizen of Mexico in obtaining Legal Permanent Residence through the unlawful presence waiver process after she resided in the US.

- Our immigration team also assisted a citizen of Hungary obtain Legal Permanent Residence through marriage to a US citizen, and helped a citizen of Ukraine obtain Legal Permanent Residence through their child, a US citizen.

Office Happenings: November Potluck

We welcomed the holiday season with our annual Kantaras Law Thanksgiving Potluck on Wednesday, November 26. Employees from all offices baked, broiled, cooked and purchased delicious food to share. We are lucky to have such great, generous employees!

We are given a list of items for foster children at the holidays, and our generous employees and clients shop for the gifts. Employee Spotlight

Meet Wesley Richardson, from the Tampa office. He started at Kantaras Law in May 2025, as a Research and Writing Associate, and will soon take the oath to become an attorney. Wesley conducts research and prepares various memorandums summarizing the research findings. After work, he is busy with his two children's extracurricular activities, which is impressive, as his nine-year-old son is a two-time Junior Olympian in track. Wesley also stays in shape by training together with his son!

He himself played college football for the University of Cincinnati (fun fact: alongside the Kelce brothers) and later received his law degree from Florida State University College of Law. We are happy to work alongside Wesley at Kantaras Law!
