Celebrating victories that uplift our clients and define our commitment to excellence in family law. Here are some recent triumphs!

Kantaras Law successfully obtained a denial of the opposing party’s Motion to Increase Timesharing. The Court kept the existing parenting plan in place after finding no basis to modify the current schedule.

In another successful outcome, our team assisted a Canadian national in navigating the complex immigration process and securing Legal Permanent Residence in the U.S. This achievement represents a major milestone, providing long-term stability, expanded opportunities, and a pathway toward future citizenship.

Through careful case preparation and dedicated advocacy, Kantaras Law helped another client obtain Legal Permanent Residence in the U.S. The client can now build her future and pursue new opportunities here.

Family Law: How Will my Spouse's Affair Impact a Divorce?

In this day and age, cheating is, unfortunately, somewhat common in marriages. According to the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, 14% of women, and 22% of men had an affair during their marriage. How does an affair impact a divorce settlement? Probably different than you think. Read more HERE.

Employee Spotlight

We are thrilled to shine the Employee Spotlight on Brunilda Shenepremte, our Immigration Paralegal. She has been with the Kantaras Law immigration team for 23 years. Her passion for immigrants stems from her own background - she arrived in the U.S. from Albania as a student 27 years ago. Brunilda attended St. Petersburg College, completed her associate's degree and a few years later joined Kantaras Law.

She is married and has a son who recently graduated from Countryside High School and now headed to Florida State University. When Brunilda is not advocating on behalf of immigration clients, she is spending time with her family on Honeymoon Island or attending a musical concert from one of her favorite bands. We're happy to have her on our team! Thank you, Brunilda!

Office Happenings

Philanthropy and corporate responsibility have always been hallmarks of the mission of Kantaras Law. Throughout the year, our team strives to give back to local charities and causes that support education, youth and women.

Each year, Kantaras Law sponsors the annual teacher appreciation luncheon at Eisenhower Elementary School in Clearwater. It is part of their "Teacher Appreciation Week" activities. Like the post says: "Yummy food, full bellies and even fuller hearts!"

Kantaras Law also sponsors the Palm Harbor University High School (PHU) Cheer Booster Club - a volunteer-run non-profit that provides funds for uniforms, equipment, competitions and events promoting PHU throughout the year.

The team makes appearances throughout Pinellas County, including school sporting events and community events such as store openings. The team also offers younger cheerleaders lessons in teamwork and school spirit through their Mini Canes Cheer Camp.
