President's Message
We hope everyone is doing okay as the new year begins with weather and health concerns. Our events remain virtual with approximately 80 participants joining our January webinar and learning more about leveraging the power of LinkedIn. Presence does make a difference! Technology requires knowledge and planning for results!

Please visit our web site and review the board positions. We are preparing for elections this spring and many board members begin in a supporting role. Please email me at President@imanationscapital.org if you are interested in volunteering to serve on our board! Many of our current board members have experience with several positions and will be ready to help as you learn more about our local and global IMA!

Many of our members are taking advantage of the no cost or very affordable NASBA CPE opportunities. Visit the new technology and analytics center  to explore course offerings and especially the very popular IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate. Once you register for the certificate, you have one year to complete the 9 credits of CPE and earn the credential. IMA Global also provides no cost ethics courses for members. Use this link https://www.imanet.org/membership/benefits?ssopc=1 to learn more about the many benefits of IMA membership and please share the link with others.
Also, take advantage of opportunities to encourage students to join our enthusiastic community. IMA membership enhances your resume and helps you build a great networking platform. Members can use the information found at https://www.imanet.org/students/student-membership?ssopc=1 to urge students to join.

I look forward to seeing you at our next webinar, Economic Development: Why it Matters. This session will provide a presentation on economic development from several perspectives related to the growth of local economies and benefits to the community at every level. Use this link to register and join us on February 9, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Best wishes as our new year continues and we look forward to warmer weather and spring blossoms!
