President's Message
We're launching our 2021-2022 program year! On October 13, 2021 at 6:00 pm we will begin providing webinars to help you stay on top of the latest trends in financial management. The first webinar, ESG: Environmental, Social & Governance: Defining Terms & Responsibilities, will help you understand concepts and roles involved in sustainability reporting. Investors and stakeholders are increasingly demanding environmental, social, and governance information and this information is considered vital to an organization's long-term success. So, save the date and stay tuned for the event announcement and registration link. Also, see the "Save the Dates!" section of this newsletter for the dates of other webinars. All of our webinars will begin at 6:00 pm and end by 7:00 pm.

In addition, registration is now open for the November 5 Virtual IMA Annual Student Leadership Conference. Students can connect with well-known companies and organizations and learn from industry experts. Please encourage students to register. The $25 fee includes a one year student membership. You can contact me at President@imanationscapital.org for more information.

The IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) website also offers numerous educational resources and discusses events and activities you can join.

Lastly, the web site https://www.imanet.org/membership/benefits?ssopc=1 describes many of the benefits you may wish to share with others, encouraging them to join IMA and our local chapter. I also encourage you to inform students on how IMA membership enhances their resume and builds a great networking platform. You can share the information found at https://www.imanet.org/students/student-membership?ssopc=1

Thank you for your support of our IMA local chapter and I'm looking forward to your participation in our upcoming activities!
