SPRING HAS ARRIVED WITH A BOOM!

Are you as enthusiastic as I am to usher in a season bustling with change? As the fluctuating weather conditions either soothed or bombarded us, our poor oak tree beside the house was struck by lightning and still awaits its fate. We lost several electrical appliances and light bulbs, but fortunately I wasn't in the shower at the time!

Though I resisted Daylight Saving Time, I welcome spring! Each unfolding chartreuse leaf and pink or yellow blossom is a treat. Not to mention the delightful soon-to-return swallows from winter migration all the way from Central or South America, and the hardy species that stuck around, including tiny Anna's hummingbirds, zealously building nests-in spring fashion.

Is patience my best virtue? Not really, but your support and encouragement makes all the difference. I'm still writing and hope to announce a book contract soon. I adore my new characters and they're anxious to meet you. In the meantime, I'm actively pursuing my writing career, which I intend to be a life-long endeavor.
