Katy High School Teacher Receives 2015 Outstanding Teaching of the Humanities Award
Katy High School U.S. History Teacher, Rebecca Lacquey, was recently selected as one of 12 recipients in the state for the 2015 Outstanding Teaching of the Humanities Award by Humanities Texas, a nonprofit, educational organization founded in 1973. State Representative John Zerwas and Chase Untermeyer, Humanities Texas board member and former ambassador to Qatar, presented Lacquey with her award and a check for $5,000 in her classroom this morning. Katy ISD Parent and Patron Assistance Center

The Parent & Patron Assistance Center (PPAC) is a confidential resource that serves the Katy ISD community by helping to address concerns, complaints, conflicts and other school-related issues in an informal manner on behalf of the Superintendent. The Coordinator is available to listen to and analyze problems; identify and explain relevant District policies and procedures; and explore options for parents and patrons.
