Keep Calm, and Attract On | |
Happy Valentine's Day!
The Power we call Love, the very Power we celebrate today, is the gravitational force of the Universe. As we calm ourselves in our meditation and affirmative prayer practice, we naturally allow the flow of Divine Love, which attracts into our lives more of that limitless Good, that very Love we have been seeking - and Love, by Spiritual Law, cannot help but express itself. The good news is, we are (when we allow ourselves to be) the channel for that expression.
Last Sunday, Rev. Dan mentioned during his lesson that the more Love we give away, the more we have to share. I invite us to take time in prayer on this subject.
Remember, God Is Love. This Love is the Truth of our nature, we are made in Its image-likeness, and we at Unity of Columbus honor this quality - of being Loving - as one of our Core Values. (See below.) As those who
have been part of our community for a while know, our congregation is very generous in sharing, and cultivating, Divine Love.
Several of our congregants, in honor of Black History Month, are preparing "Soul Food" for our Potluck Fellowship - so be sure to join us, and bring your appetite, and possibly a friend!
Keeping in mind and heart the 40-Days of Prayer, from now through March 7, we continue to hold this prayer, this Love, affirming:
"One Presence, One Power, God.
We are One Family, One Heart,
called to Peace, Love, Strength and Action.
Divine Wisdom guides us now."
As we go about our week, along this human journey, let us live in love, keep calm, and attract on...
We will see you - and your families! - on Sunday at Unity of Columbus.
