As we wrap up another incredible Girl Scout year, it’s almost time to complete your Annual Troop Finance Report! The reporting window officially opens June 1st and closes June 30th, but we’re sharing the submission link early in this edition of Troop Scoop so you can begin preparing ahead of time.

All troops are required to complete an Annual Troop Finance Report for the membership year. As part of the process, troops will provide a summary of troop finances from the period of May 1, 2025 - April 30, 2026 and upload select bank statements from the year (June 2025, October  2025, February 2026, April 2026 ). Taking time now to gather your documents can help make the process smoother once submissions officially open.

Access the Finance Report submission form

Please note - there is no option to "save" progress in the finance form. Please enter final numbers + bank statements once you are ready to submit your report.

America's Block Party

America’s Block Party will be the largest synchronized Fourth of July celebration. Across the country, communities will gather on July 3rd and 4th for live music, shared moments, and local celebrations that reflect the spirit of Independence Day. Block parties will take place across 10 major U.S. cities and be broadcasted to share the joy in community. Los Angles will host the main event. Councils and Troops can host their own block parties – big or small – to celebrate this milestone anniversary and Girl Scout’s contribution to the American fabric.

Host a Block Party

Times Square Ball Drop

For the first time, the Times Square Ball will drop eight times on July 3rd to ring in Independence Day live across all time zones in the United States. One Times Square will serve as the live broadcast stage for millions of Americans to be able to watch in real time as it marks midnight across America. The July 3rd countdown will serve as the opening act for America’s Block Party on July 4th.

The Giving 4th Broadcast Benefit Show

This event will bring together performers, nonprofits, corporations, and communities across the country to drive charitable donations, turning the moment of celebrating our nation’s 250th into an enduring movement of impact. The livestream broadcast event will build into a July 4 show from Los Angeles, creating a continuous, coast-to-coast celebration and call to give.
