I PRAY all is well with your soul!!!
Let me begin today's message with sad/glad news.
Ms. Kathy Jones, a LONGTIME friend and sister in the Lord has passed away-I believe it was early this past Sunday, 9/11. Funeral is to be at an unknown Church facility in Newnan, GA. On Sunday, 9/25 at 12:30 PM. I apologize for lack of more info.
As I was preparing this word, I received a call from Betsy Everette, wife of Mr. Don Everette-a former brother-in-law to myself-informing me of his passing on 8/31/22.
I also apologize for not sending out a sermon last Sunday as I had my beloved granddaughter and her daughter here at my home for a visit all day.
The message today is the same I wanted to publish Sunday but was unable!!!
My daily routine has slightly been altered recently as I now get little Amanda out of bed EARLY mornings before I retire-usually around 3 or 4 o'clock in the mornings.
As I await my wife's awakening, I cut on the boob tube and watch her favorite TV evangelist, Mr. Osteen.
I have to admit, he does give a good and positive exhortation.......................
As he preached last week, he mentioned the above Verse and emphasized the “AND” part- “faith AND patience!”
Let me add to his preaching today:
Hebrews 10:36-39 (KJV)
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Paul EXHORTED us-YOU AND ME-
“FOR YE HAVE NEED OF PATIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Most of us PRAY thus:
“Lord, please give me patience BUT give me patience NOW!!!!!!!!!!!” AMEN????
I HATE TO WAIT!
But, beloved, as in nature, so it is in life-EVERYTHING has a SEASON and a TIME!!!
