Help us plan for 2020 Summer Activities.

With the health and safety of our Scouts and Scouters being our top priority, we would like to host a survey to help with our decision making for our programs and activities through the summer and fall. We need Parents or Guardians, and Leaders to answer the questions in the survey. This information will help us plan the types of program that will fit your needs.
Camp Card update:

New deadline to turn in money and cards is Wednesday, July 15 th  @ 4pm
Camp Card payment and return procedures will be announced closer to this date.
Those wishing to deposit funds already collected can do so in the Trading Post Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm.

Here are a few great ways to keep selling camp cards during Covid-19:
  • Social Media! I spoke to one Scout Parent who has sold 60 cards in three weeks on Facebook! After visiting a vendor on the card, she posted where she went and how much she saved and to contact her to purchase cards! Could it be any easier?

To date 288 Hometown Hero Cards have been sold.  The council goal is 1000 cards.

The following unit have had online card sales:
  • Packs: 312, 521, 560, 838
  • Troops 104, 143, 155, 306, 555, 767, 912

Those wishing to purchase to purchase cards for themselves can also stop by the Trading Post Monday-Friday between 10am-4pm. Remember to mention what unit should receive credit for the sale.

Advancement During COVID 19

We have gotten lots of questions about advancement during this time. Click on the button below for lots of details on how to handle advancement. There have been many accommodations put in place to ensure that Scouts can still advance.

For Scouts working on the Eagle Rank who may be approaching their 18th birthday: Extensions can be granted past your 18th birthday. We have heard about many projects that were delayed due to closures, or certain merit badges may not be able to be completed due to social distancing guidelines. If you need to request an exentsion please email Brian Porter at There are other considerations you can see at the link below.
