5 Easy Ways to Keep Your Bill Lower this Summer
  1. Keep windows, doors, blinds, and curtains closed on hot days. Open them when it cools down to let in breezes.
  2. Hang your laundry to dry instead of using a dryer.
  3. Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing.
  4. Drink plenty of cool fluids to stay hydrated.
  5. Use your kitchen and bathroom fans after cooking and bathing.

Stay Cool with a Heat Pump
Heat pumps provide cooling during the hot summer months and keep your home comfortable all year long.

We offer rebates for the installation of ducted central system heat pumps and ductless systems.

To be eligible, heat pumps must be pre-approved and installed by an approved contractor.

Request a Free Home Energy Evaluation
Did you know we offer free home energy evaluations to customers who heat their homes with electricity?

These evaluations can help you find opportunities to cut your energy waste, which helps keep your electric bills lower.

Fly Drones Away from Power Lines
Please be careful and attentive when flying drones. It is not safe to fly them near power lines or other electrical equipment.

Getting too close to a power line could affect or disable your drone's signal. Contacting a power line could cause a power outage and damage your machine.

If your drone contacts our equipment, please do not try removing it yourself. Please call us at (503) 397-1844.
Meter Replacement Project Continues
We are in the process of replacing all of the electric meters in our service territory.

When we replace your meter, we will need to briefly shut off your power. Your power should be restored within minutes.

The new meters will look and function essentially the same way your current meter does.

If you have any questions about this project, please view our FAQ page.
