Did your child recently complete Adventure Camp or another intensive therapy program, but still have a few weeks before school begins?

Keep the momentum going! The time between an intensive treatment experience and the first days of school is a great opportunity to practice, practice, practice those newly strengthened brave-speaking skills.

Try Brave Bingo at 2:30pm on one or both of the last two Saturdays in August (8/22 and/or 8/29)!

Social Exposure Groups

bridge the gap between therapy and the real world. And after an intensive treatment experience, continued practice matters! For children who recently completed Adventure Camp or another intensive therapy program, Social Exposure Groups provide opportunities to keep practicing newly strengthened skills before returning to school. Through structured, community-based exposures, children practice talking, interacting, problem-solving, and navigating real-world situations while building greater independence.

For children with selective mutism, social anxiety, or social phobia, every successful exposure is another opportunity to strengthen the skills they will need when they walk through the school doors. Keep the momentum going—practice brave before going back to school!
