NEXTREX RECYCLING CHALLENGE

Our awesome friends at the WAWM RCS Recreational Adult Day Program - RAD are determined to collect at least 1,000lbs. of plastic bags and film by September 2024. So far, they've collected a total of 300lbs!

Collecting plastic bags/film can help reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up in our environment. Plastic bags are a major source of pollution, and they can harm wildlife, clog waterways, and take hundreds of years to decompose. By successfully collecting and disposing of 1,000lbs. of plastic bags/film, RAD will not only contribute to reducing our impact on the environment, but they will also be rewarded with a beautiful bench to be placed in the garden right here at the Recreation Center.

What can you do to help? Gather your plastic bags, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper bags, and any other plastic film you can find. Please make sure that it's clean, dry, and free of food residue to be accepted. Together, we can make an impact on our environment and create a more sustainable future. For more information on what can be recycled, please visit https://nextrex.com/view/educate

We're excited to be part of this effort and hope you'll join us in making a positive impact on our environment. Thanks for your continued support!
