Dance Alive National Ballet was awarded a grant for $1,500 to help support residency programming at the Reilly Arts Center in Ocala. Executive Director Lee May attended the 11th Annual Applaud the Arts event on September 20th where Ms. May was presented on stage with other grant recipients. It was a lovely event and DANB is most appreciative of the MCA grant.

DANB is pleased to announce that two more corporate sponsors have joined the team!
Citizens State Bank of Newberry will be a corporate donor at the PRIMA LEVEL.
Thank you Gilbert Levy for facilitating this sponsorship.
Dance is a visual art and we REALLY need good video in order to present the Company. We are particularly pleased that Sherrie and Tony McKnight through their company Big Daddy Productions will be filming and editing material for DANB through the 2018-2019 season - a corporate donor level at the STAR level.
Thank you Tony and Sherrie!
Now Is the Time! October 1 through October 19th.
If you are an employee at UF, you can donate to DANB through the University of Florida Campaign for Charities. It is really painless! They have it down to an art, and since it is handled through payroll deduction, what you give can be spread throughout the year.
When you give -
Remember that we have to make up a loss of over $72,000! Along with so many wonderful arts organizations in Florida, cuts in state funding have made this year one in which we really have to count on the generosity and support of our community. (We qualified for $78,000 and were awarded $5,000.) Please donate what you can - and know that we are doing all that we can to limit expenses. We thank you.
